HER 7v7 has released its Final 2025-26 National Top 25 following a comprehensive review of the high school girls flag football landscape across the country.

Creating a true national ranking in girls flag football presents a unique challenge. The sport is not played during the same season in every state. Some of the nation's top programs compete in the fall, others play during the winter, and many of Florida's best teams take the field in the spring.

The final HER 7v7 rankings bring those seasons together.

The evaluation considered complete season résumés, state championship and postseason results, strength of schedule, head-to-head competition when available, and performance against elite interstate and national-level fields.

No single poll, computer ranking, record, championship, or event determined the final order.

The result is a Top 25 representing high school programs from 16 states and some of the strongest girls flag football regions in the country.

Alonso Finishes No. 1

Alonso claims the top spot after putting together one of the strongest finishes in the country.

The Ravens closed the season by winning the Unrivaled Championship bracket against an elite field. Their championship-game victory over Robinson gave Alonso the strongest direct national-event result among the teams competing for the No. 1 ranking.

That performance ultimately separated Alonso from an exceptional group at the top.

JSerra Completes a Perfect Season

JSerra Catholic finishes No. 2 after a perfect 28-0 season and a California Division 1 championship.

The Lions defeated Orange Lutheran three times during their undefeated championship run and built one of the best complete-season résumés in the country.

Few teams had a stronger argument for the top spot.

Robinson Continues Its Historic Run

Robinson finishes No. 3 after another championship season.

The Knights went 21-1, won their 10th consecutive state championship, and advanced to the Unrivaled Championship final.

Robinson's combination of sustained dominance, postseason success, and performance against an elite national field gave the Knights one of the most complete résumés in the country.

Seminole Ridge and Edison Complete the Top Five

Seminole Ridge finishes No. 4 after building one of the strongest full-season profiles in the nation. The Hawks went 20-2 against a demanding schedule and remained among the country's elite throughout the spring season.

Edison rounds out the Top 5 after a 19-1 season, a second consecutive Florida state championship, and the Unrivaled Gold bracket title.

The top of the final rankings reflects the strength of Florida girls flag football, with four Florida programs occupying spots in the national Top 5.

A National Top 10

Central finishes No. 6 after emerging from the fall season as one of the country's highest-ranked programs.

Gwynedd Mercy Academy comes in at No. 7, followed by Ravenwood at No. 8.

Florida state champion Lennard earns the No. 9 position after navigating one of the country's most difficult schedules and reaching the Unrivaled Gold bracket final.

North Oconee completes the national Top 10 after one of the strongest fall campaigns in the country.

Texas Earns Its Place

Rockwall-Heath enters the final rankings at No. 11.

The Lady Hawks completed an undefeated season and won the first Texas Girls Flag Football State Championship, defeating Houston Memorial 25-6 in the championship game.

Texas girls flag football continues to grow rapidly, with more than 200 scholastically based varsity teams competing across the state. Rockwall-Heath's championship résumé earned the program a place among the nation's best.

A Growing National Landscape

The final rankings reflect both the established power centers and the expanding national reach of girls flag football.

Florida leads the final Top 25 with five programs. California follows with four, while Georgia places three teams in the rankings.

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas are also represented.

The final Top 25 includes programs from 16 states.

That geographic reach matters.

As girls flag football continues to expand, national rankings cannot rely only on the states with the longest-established seasons or the most complete statistical databases. Emerging championship structures, interstate competition, and results from developing markets must also be evaluated.

At the same time, geographic representation alone does not earn a team a ranking.
